Well over a hundred shells went into making this ornament. Making this is like a jigsaw puzzle, finding the right shape and size to make sure colors blend and sizes match. This large ornament is made completely with Ceriths found on the beach in Florida by me. My favorite way to relax is to walk the beach and hunt for shells. It is like a treasure hunt looking for the shells hidden beneath a layer of sand. Well over a hundred shells are used to make this ornament and I try to keep sizes matched and colors blending. The shells have the blemishes and markings that they came out of the water with. A coral colored bow (the color included in Florida Sunsets) completes this item. It has been sprayed with an acrylic finish for protection and shine. The size on this one is just over 4 inches not including the bow. read more...

I took an already beaded napkin holder and made it elegant with this dyed blue flower made out of tiny ark shells. The color varies from shell to shell. Some are darker than others but the overall look makes it look beautiful on your table. The napkins are not included. This item is on the fragile side so I do not recommend them for use by children but they would look great for that special dinner for two. Added to a beaded off white napkin holder is one of my Dyed Flowers in a pretty peach color. The flower is made up of tiny ark shells that I dyed to this peach color. Not all shells take the color the same which accounts for the variations of color on each petal of the flower. This napkin holder is on the fragile side so I don't recommend it for use by children. It is a beautiful addition to that special dinner setting for two. Napkin is not included. read more...
